Canvasy started from a simple idea: artists need somewhere to post their work that isn't buried in an algorithm feed, and that doesn't force everything to be either fully public or locked in a private folder on their hard drive.

Here, every piece you post gets a choice: share it with the world, keep it just for yourself, or share it with a specific group of people — classmates, a critique circle, family, whoever you trust with a look at your work in progress.
