These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Canvasy (the "Service"), operated by [Your Name / Business Name] ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using Canvasy, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Canvasy. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and will delete any account found to belong to a child under 13 upon discovery.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised. Don't create an account using false information, and don't create multiple accounts to evade a ban or suspension.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of everything you upload to Canvasy. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service (for example, showing your art to people you've chosen to share it with, or generating thumbnails). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies already shared with others per your chosen visibility settings, or as needed to comply with law.

You're solely responsible for the content you post. By posting, you confirm that you own it or have the necessary rights to share it, and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights or these Terms.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

The following are never allowed on Canvasy, regardless of privacy setting (public, private, or shared with a group). Violating this section results in content removal and may result in an immediate, permanent ban:

Illegal content of any kind, including content that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form. This is met with a zero-tolerance policy: immediate account termination and a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement, as required by law.
Pornographic or sexually explicit content, including AI-generated or drawn sexual content involving real or fictional minors, and non-consensual intimate imagery of real people.
Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights. See our DMCA section below for how rights holders can request removal.
Harassment, hate speech, threats, or content that targets an individual or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics.
Malware, exploits, or content designed to damage, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system.
Spam, including automated posting, scraping the Service without permission, or using the Service to advertise unrelated products or services.
Impersonating another person or entity in a misleading way.
Evading a ban or suspension by creating a new account.

We reserve the right to remove any content, and suspend or terminate any account, at our sole discretion — including content that's technically permitted by this list but that we determine is harmful, abusive, or not in the spirit of the community, and including in cases where we're not able to explain our specific reasoning.

5. Copyright (DMCA) policy

If you believe content on Canvasy infringes your copyright, send a notice to [DMCA agent name / email] including: (1) a description of the copyrighted work; (2) the URL or location of the infringing material on Canvasy; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized; and (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you're authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

We'll remove content in response to a valid notice. Someone whose content is removed may submit a counter-notice under the same law; we'll forward it to the original complainant. Note: to receive the legal safe-harbor protections the DMCA offers to hosts of user content, you generally need to register a DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office — this is a real, separate step worth taking before launch if you're in or serving the U.S.

6. Privacy

We collect the information needed to run the Service: your email address, the content you upload, and technical information like IP addresses (used for security purposes such as login attempt limiting). We don't sell your personal information.
