How to share your child's art with grandparents (privately)

Grandparents love seeing new drawings — but not everyone wants their kids' artwork on public social media, and not every grandparent wants another account and password to manage. Here's a simpler, more private way.

Share a family link. On Canvasy you can create a family link for a child's gallery. Anyone you send it to can open it in their browser and see that child's art — no account, no sign-up, no app. It's about as easy as opening a web page.

Keep it just for family. The link only works for the gallery you choose, and only for people you send it to. It isn't listed anywhere public and search engines don't index it. You can turn it off at any time if you ever need to.

Let them cheer the kids on. Family can leave a little note or a heart on a piece through the link. Those notes come back to you — a nice way for grandma to say "I love the dragon!" without a public comment thread.

Names stay private. By default, your child's first name isn't shown on any public page or in search. Grandparents using the family link see the name as normal; the wider internet doesn't. (If you'd rather show a child's first name publicly, there's a per-child setting you can turn on.)

Send a slideshow. A child's gallery can play as a full-screen slideshow — pleasant on a tablet or a TV when the grandparents are visiting, or just to flip through the year together over a video call.
